Fort Campbell, Kentucky (October 25, 2022) – This year, the Digital Works program has expanded to include participants from across the country. Students from coast to coast have joined classes to receive job readiness training and placement assistance necessary to land themselves a remote position with one of the companies’ many vetted vendors. Each person coming from a different background and season of life is a unique reminder that the program continues to provide students with the confidence and skills needed for their journey to remote work.
Each month, Digital Works likes to highlight a recent graduate for their dedication and efforts throughout the program. This month, they would like to shine the spotlight on LaStasia, a new mom who came to the program looking for an opportunity to spend more time with her daughter and build the confidence she needed to begin working. With no previous remote work experience, she was worried about falling prey to a work-from-home scam. During class she learned how to provide great customer service, build a resume, and received information for legitimate vendors. After graduating from the course, LaStasia went on to accept two different 1099 positions that offered her the flexibility she needed to be a caretaker and provider.
The Digital Works team would like to wish LaStasia continued success with her remote employment and this new chapter in life!
